Motivate your readers to share your content with  the help of SEO

You have written a fantastic article on very good topic and published it on your blog or tech blog but you haven’t got good shares.  Because nobody has interest to share your content. Despite of knowing the fact “sharing is caring”.

And at that point it is disappointing for blogger like you, even after invested a complete week in doing research and written good numbers of words.

Every blogger, (me too) has a dream that their content to go viral. After all, behind a post there are so much time and effort involved on it. But for that your reader should share your content to others.

So show your efforts to the world and maximize the benefits of your hard work. Whenever you publish a new post on your blog and share it on social and motivate others to share your content to rest of the world.

There are many strategies involve into encourage your readers to share your content. In this article, I’ll discuss how you can use these strategies to encourage your readers to share your content.

• Write Articles for your readers: –

Whenever you write any article keep in mind your readers. After all you are putting this efforts for them. So understand your reader’s expectation and land your writing skills nearby.

Put yourself into your reader’s place and then ask yourself, would                 you  share a content Or post, which is neither solve your problems nor               entertain you?

Probably not, after all, if you didn’t enjoy reading a post and learned                  nothing valuable, won’t share your content.

Always make your reader feel inspired with quotes, surprised with                  facts and statistics, amused with videos and photos, and happy about                grabbing something new.

• Use maximum number of social sharing buttons: –

As we all know, there are few popular social media platforms with numbers of active users. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube are leaders from that list.

         But we shouldn’t forget other social media platform those are in second  row and growing day by day.

            Thus, make sure you give your readers number of choices. Add more social sharing buttons and so, make it easy to share your content.

• Use Images in your article: –

People love images, in fact articles that include pictures on Facebook get 104% more comments, 84% better click through rate, and 54% more likes.

             Also, in a study conducted by Buffer where they analyzed tweets, they discovered that tweets with pictures get 18% more clicks, 89% more favorites, and 150% more retweets.

In short to motivate reader to share your content use images. Use images in your articles but not other’s images.

Should be your’s. If you don’t have your own images related to your post, you can create it by using canva.

• Make your images shareable: –

Have you seen that on some websites you can share either the whole article or only images. Really cool, isn’t it?

        If your reader doesn’t want to share your content completely but your used images appealing them to share, they can share it with their nearer and dearer.

All they have to just click and selected image and can sharing by using social media sharing button.

Always keep in mind that, not only text can be shared. So, make sure your readers can choose whether to share your whole post or just the images.

• Use Widgets to boost sharing: –

Use social sharing tools to help you boost social shares. There are numbers of tools that you can try out.

You can use Blog pros – for boosting your social sharing. I personally use it. By using this your reader can share your content easily.

• Ask to shares: –

Don’t be shy to ask to share your content. In fact at beginning shares will come from you nearer and dearer. Because I ask them to read and share it. In fact, by just asking, your social engagement can grow by more than 40%.

• Optimize your social media tags: –

Whenever you clicked on any post/article of Facebook to share that post/article and then found that images didn’t load and description is missing. If yes then will your reader share your content? Might not.

So, make sure your social Meta tags are optimized and the content looks attractive when shared on social media. It will encourage your readers to share more of your posts in the future.

• Always Express gratitude: –

Always express thanks to your readers, thanks them to share your content. Tell them how much you appreciate it.

This way, you’ll improve your relationship with them. Next time, they’ll be more likely to keep on reading your blog and share your content in the future.
